Matt was an amazing realtor and friend to us during the home buying process. His attention to detail was so impressive during every house tour we went on. Matt always voluntarily got his hands dirty including going in every crawl space and back yards to make sure there weren’t any hidden issues. He got to know what type of house and neighborhood that fit our needs and tailored our house search throughout the process. His communication was always clear, concise and quick to respond. He had the best recommendations for home improvements and a large rolodex of referrals. After we closed, Matt went above and beyond what any realtor does and did some of the small home improvements needed before our move in. When we decided to sell the condominium apartment we've lived in for 16 years we knew it was important to select the right realtor. A friend recommended Matt Cox and we are so glad we chose him. We were impressed right from the start when, after our first meeting, he presented us with a detailed plan. A videographer then produced a great promotional video. Throughout the process of showings and offers Matt was always right there, guiding us and answering questions immediately. Matt is everything you’d want your realtor to be & more. This is our second time working with Matt and our third time working with The Cox Group. We had a long list of wants for a new build and Matt went above and beyond finding the perfect layout, and lot, so we could build a garage behind the house. He went to multiple sites while we were still in another state to measure out the lot so we could get under contract quickly. We hit many construction roadblocks and delays due to the pandemic, but Matt worked with the builder to ensure we stayed on pace as much as we could, and I have no doubt we are in the house sooner because of his hard work. Matt is the epitome of professionalism, has an extensive network around the Charlotte area, and is highly knowledgeable in both historic neighborhood and new development markets. He is the only realtor we trust and will work with in the future.
